Rottenness has been forced to cancel their appearance at MDF by the embassy in Mexico. Their visas will not be granted until this summer and the band has stated that they will play the states as soon as the paperwork allows them to. The following is the letter from Jaleel of Rottenness explaining the situation.

HEY THERE PEOPLE...WE GOT THE ANSWER ABOUT THE LAST MEETING THAT WE HAVE LAST MONDAY WITH YOUR GOVERMENT....THE THING IS THAT THEY MAKE US CANCEL THE NEXT 2 SHOWS IN PHILADELPHIA AND MARYLAND...WERE SOOOO SORRY ABOUT THIS ..INSTEAD THEY ARE GONNA GIVE US OUR VISA SO WE CAN GET INTO THE UNITED STATES FROM THE NEXT MONTH...
NOW...THE BAND CAN PLAY THE NEXT 10 YEARS IN TEH UNITED STATES WITH NO PROBLEM...THEY ARE GONNA SEND THE VISA IN THE NEXT MONTH AND THE BAND WILL BE AVAILABLE......

As a result of this, Putrescence (Canada) will now be appearing at the fest. There have been a few minor schedule modifications to the first bands playing Saturday, so please take note.

- We don't want this annoucement to alarm anyone. We're fully aware of the travel arrangements and flights of the rest of the bands scheduled to play the fest, including the overseas bands.
