i've recieved the live album today.
it's pretty sad, it's suffering from a lack of power.
i mean it's very difficult to hear the bass drum.
it's just a live album, but it could have been great without that.

tbh, I got my first enthroned album today, carnage in...

and I have to flatter you a little, nornagest, without ass-kissing.

this raging fast style with double bass kicking and all is usually not my thing (I strongly dislike most and especially the later marduk albums), but this cd impressed me, especially the solos.

there are

1. not many bm bands that do solos at all and

2. hardly any that perform them so well..

I think I'll have to get some more enthroned shit..

hmm.. I don't know. actually I'd like to go to at least one cool festival this summer, but the wacken line-up sucks, summer breeze sucks, and party.san line-up sucks--you're the best band on both. the exploited is quite cool, but I don't like endstille and the rest. would possibly watch d. tranquillity too.

so if I go to a festival this summer, it'll probably be the under the black sun festival (although there's a lot of nazi scum-bm skinhead scum, not the sort of BD scum :p ). urgehal, antaeus, primordial, krieg.. but the line-up there isn't too good either.

I see this album was recorded in Brazil... I was wondering if the album title (and cover) has anything to do with a kvlt brasilian black metal horde called NEGRO ALTAR, which released a demo back in '95 called "Goat Ritual"... does anybody know anything about it?

I'm not saying it's a copy, the title is very obvious and I'm quite sure that there are other bands with similar titles for demos, but it happened that I know this especific one. so I couldn't avoid acting like a true bm asshole, hahah... Concerning the info about Negro Altar you have, there are some mistakes, I believe they didn't start in '92 but in '95, they have a second demo and the band doesn't exist anymore since '98. The suicide stuff seems to be bullshit, at least this guy wasn't the singer... you cannot trust everything you read on internet... anyway I believe your live album is way better than their TRUE NECRO KVLT RAW demo-tape, heheh... hails!

7th september was Florianopolis but this date got canceled because the local promoter did not want to pay any costs.
and the dates are correct!

Yes its true. I think Carpathian Forest is in that same boat right now. Black metal and good promo sucks out here, but let me rewmind you there are pleanty of fans here. espically California. Black metal is growing very quick. I hear its quite easy and realistic to book one down in Tijuana, Mexico. Gorgoroth and Dissection have recently played there for the American fans without having to travel across the US, rather people from all over the states came out and the shows went very well there. Good luck with that, perhaps you will consider paying us a visit in the future, with the live album out, it just makes people want to see Enthroned live!
