Hardcore's pretty cool. I never got into it though. I just always thought it was kind of cool how kids knew exactly where to freak out and sing the parts and shit... now it seems really contrived and lame. that handclapping stuff is getting on my nerves.

Damn you! B.B. King's fucking OWNS!!

I realize there's certain aspects of it that suck. Like the merch selling part. But as far as NYC clubs go, it's the best. Location/sound/atmosphere, it's fucking great.

Thank god L'amour is gone!

The CxDx show I saw at the KF (while good) was the worst I've seen them, mainly 'cuz the sound.

how about gargling my ballsack?

actually, it's virtually impossible to have a shitty show at the kf. well, the hollywood one that is. unless you're talking about NYC which is a damn joke. Which REALLY bugs me, cause I'm a huge fan of John Zorn and practically everyone I've heard that has started at or come out of that place. That place was horrible. But the one in Hollywood is amazing. Best sound ever, i would have to say. At least the monitor mix is fucking amazing.

dude, as much as i think kf sucks, I would LOVE to do a headlining show there! that'd be the shit. Its totally possible too.. i've had them email me before trying to do a show with us there but we were not going out at the time... we go wherever our dude tells us to. And thats fine by me.

I'm talking about the NYC one. It's not that good of a club. It's better than some of the other shit holes in the city, but still.

That show you guys played here w/ Vital Remains, you guys were good, but it's still (out of the couple times I've seen you) the "worst."

A CxDx headlining show anywhere in NYC would be fucking great though.

You're probably right about the KF in CA being better though, I mean, at least they book better bands. :(

meh, I like B.B. King's. If something's worth seeing twice I'll travel there from Philly and see the show at the Trocadero in Philly and at B.B. King's (usually the next day). I've done that a couple times. King's is nice from a fan standpoint.

If you want to talk about bad venues....the Tribecca in Philadelphia sucks balls, hardcore. I think they held like, an unprecedented 5 shows there before they realized it sucked more than one could imagine, and scrapped it. It was a lame nightclub that almost now one could find, underneath the insterstate overpass in Philly. It was an inferno in there too.

Even though the sound was crappy and it was the size of my closet, that was my favorite time seeing Cattle Decapitation. Darkest Hour threw a cow poncho on Travis during "Lips and Assholes". Funny shit. They played Long Pig too, which I haven't heard since. Probably the most memorable show I've been to.
