That does suck, Jack is a cool guy. But hey, he's going where his heart is, can't deny him for doing that. He gave us fifteen years of sweet stuff if you ask me. Best of luck to him.

"whats weird is that you could go to some underground fest like the old Ohio Death Fest and there would be Jack walking around, hands full of merch... for not liking death metal, he sure went out and supported it... you didnt see any other luminaries from other higher profile bands at these fests...

I could tell the last time I saw CC the Jack's heart wasn't in it anymore so this doesn't surprise me at all. What is he going to do now?

that sucks that jack is leaving cc, they put on a killer show when i seen them,but if he aint happy doing it he can follow what he really wants to do......................cannibal corpse isnt going to be the same:mad:

Yeah, I agree w/ what everyone already said. At least he's doing what makes him happy, ya know?? And I always thought he would be the coolest dude in CC to meet, just because he's always so...laid back and pimp like. ha. I'm sure they are all cool though.

me too. i saw them march 3, and he didnt look like he was real into it. but i figured that was becasue their bus got repoed the night before, and they had to move all their shit to a new one. this really suicks dick though.

On the DVD he was more into "My pockets got a hole in it" than he was into the CC songs.It's cool though.He's a great guitarist but Corpse can find a replacement who will be a little more into it and enthusiastic.Owen is a huge Blues fan so maybe he'll find his happiness in the blues.Kinda ironic.

Maybe Noah can fill in!

most of the fulfillment I get from playing is people's reactions to songs that my band wrote, I wouldn't get the same sort of satisfaction jumping into an already established band and playing their songs that I had nothing to do with.

that would be cool. imagine being next to pat o brien......

thats every kids dream. couldnt you imagine that? ide rather you stick with skinless regardless if you were offered to be in cc. skinless is an awesome and creative death metal band, which is hard to come by. and you guys are energetic on stage. at least that is what my brother says.

I heard former Origin guitarist Jeremy (big bald guy) is gonna be CC's new guitarist but that is not confirmed.

that sucks....im not saying hes a shitty guitarist its just that jack wrote alot of cc songs and they were great with the new guy there going to be very different and probably not as good:(

We'll just have to see how it turns out. Jacks heart wasn't in it anymore anyway. So, he wouldn't be writing good stuff, at least not as inspired as earlier material.

oh, interesting.

I just recently discovered the band, I had no idea longstreth left/was kicked out. I'm going to the store to pick up informis, infinitas, inhumanitias today.. the few tracks on that cd I've heard were great.

Actually that kinda sucks, his work in origin was amazing. But from what I've heard had his problems with skinless's stuff.. heh.
