Drummers Speed

Ok, so, i've heard a bunch a shit in metal rooms about The Berzerker, like they suck and shit, which, is typical, every band is gonna have a group of people that doesn't like them no matter what, but what they all have to say kinda gets me thinking, They say drummer isn't actually drumming with his feet that fast, hes using his hands to do it, but what confuses me is how does he do the snare then....

Someone wanna clarify this for me so i can get my shit straight lol
