Fuck yea this guy rules!!!! the tempos are similar but the black guy goes quicker on his rolls.
Im very impressed with this guy. so many accents, hes hitting HARD (all acoustic).
It much easier to play on real drumskins then paint buckets!!!!

only, i don't really see him willingly playing DEATH METAL. he doesn't seem like the type. maybe jazz fusion, or as a payed-studio drummer. but blasting for The Berzerker? i dunno. haha.
And the footage of the Drummer is too blurry and shaky to fully see his abilities.

for one, the black dude isn't wearing a sweaty hot ginormous mask covering half his vision, and second, theyre aligned almost perfectly flat, as opposed to a real drumset, that's leveled high and low, and much farther between each other, and third, the guy has probably been playing the same song every single day on that same corner, which probably explains why not many are standing amazed and in view of the camera. they're porbably sick of the guy, haha. but i will admit, the guy is incredible.
anyways, whoever filmed The Drummer needs to be kicked in the shin. he didn't hold the camera still for more than 5 seconds.
P.S. stop using their names. using them doesn't make you k00ler or more personal to the band.

HELLO LOSERS. i viewed the video. i'm from new york city. i know who the bucket drummer is. that video was shot in times square. the bucket-man has been drumming since he was a child and was featured in a commercial back in the 80's. he started out as homeless and now earns a living playing drums GHETTO-STYLE.

The Berzerker wear masks so that their music is as far as possible from their own separate human personailities. Calling them by their names, I feel, defeats this purpose. I look up to The Berzerker so I've got this tendency to segregate them from the rest of the fleshy folk around me.

He probably puts his name in e-mails, because either he's used to doing so and/or he wants to be on a more personal level with fans.
And the reason he puts his name in the finer notes of "dissimulate" is probably for legal reasons. Alot of musicians do it.

I really thought i knew a quite a bit about good musicians but i had never even heard of this guy.
This is an 8min clip and i urge you to watch it ALL THE WAY THROUGH.
What is even more amazing is the kid is 12 years old and he's tiny, meaning he has to reach much further to hit things AND DOES. Also it would be much harder to get to the kick drums pedals.
It is a 20meg download, so it will take some time for those of you on slow connections, but its well worth it. But do yourselves a favor and Download it overnight and watch it in the morning!!!

took me about 5 mins to download.:eek: damn this kid can play at hyper speed just cheeck out the video at about 7:03 to 7:14 it looks like someone just push the fast-forward button and it still had sound.at about 1:40 to 2:17,5:01 to 5:15 and 5:36 to 5:42 he really has some berzerker sounding drum beats.damn this kid is good(stands up and says kid u really rule)

NO NO NO. he's not a kid. he's in his mid 20's. the video makes him look small. probably as small as the brain power in this forum. he's been a street performer since the early 80's when he was a kid. look on the internet and you might find something.

Look man, Tony Royster is in his mid 20s now, but then he was 12 years old, I have seen his video with Dennis Chambers when he was that age.
That guy on the street corner is NOT Tony Royster JR, Tony is a very well rated studio drummer now.
Mike Mangini is the fastest hands Drummer in the world right now, try Kazza for his solo with Steve Vai, I can guarantee you have never seen anything like this in your life, it changed everything on drumming for me. Its 48meg though but really worth it.

not always... I'd place versatility over a drummer that can only blast his way through a song. EG, Tony Laureano.
Vitek from Decapitated is always spot on, note for note, especially live.
If you're talking blasting though, someone's gotta give Danny Herrera a mention :D

In the DVD it is quite clear that the singer's name is Luke Kenny, the guitarist's name is Matt, the bassist's name is Sam, and the drummer's name is Gary. I really don't think they care if I use their names on the message board.
