hey luke, i've been looking for some gabber but all the stuff i've sound so far with the exception of:
you
tear box
and one other i dont remember
any way i liked the idea that when you couldnt find music you liked you made your own. i have a tone of stuff i've always wanted to do but never really knew how to go about it!! so if you could tell me what the programs you use to do stuff like schock wave and the inexplicable zenith stufff!!!!!
ps. by the way i forgot to say, i have some programmes i've not had chance to piss about with they are:
soundforge
fruity loops
cool edit
are any of them any good do you know?

i've got an ancient trial version of cooledit 95 ^_^ still works well enough for what i need to do though (excluding the fact it doesn't understand wma's)
Well, im not luke, but maybe i can help....
I write gabber, i've been writing it for 3/4 years now, and i use a program called ModPlug Tracker.
Its a simple little program, dont expect to master it though in a week....

common mistake, you use the quote button on the bottom of the post ^_^ i think everyone's managed that at some point.
Yes dave, ModPlug is free....its probably different then other programs your used to... you have to load up each wav file and then lay them out on tracks individually, if you want i can type up a tutorial for you tonight then tomorrow or sometime i'll put it on the internet and give you the link....

it has lots of death and grind but it has some gabber at the botton i think its under techno. its a bit shit but might be worth a look, ones called tear box-fuse depressor. not that good but you might want to use it as a sample or get some ideas.
