I hear it's probably the best Impaled material ever, so good that it can't ever be released ever again. Because it's soooo great. Apparently.

It's really bad. It doesn't even really sound like the same band at all, very brutal american death metal style with piggish vocals.

I think people feel the need to say that a band's most obscure work is their best, even though it is rarely true.


However, Sean, would you guys consider rereleasing it as an extra with something else at some point?

That'd be very nice if Impaled was to do that.

It'd be COMPLETELY generous if they were to release the whole demo as mp3s for free on the site, since it's apparently really shit! ^___^

Maybe if we release that demo the reviews for Death After Life will improve! "They sure have come a long way from this pile of dog shit". I can see it now. Maybe we should just put it up on the site or something, for the hardcore fans. I once put it on MP3.com under the band name "Numerator" with the title being "Divide and Conquer" and people actually emailed me saying they liked it. The idea was it was a band totally obsessed with math. Numerator, get it? God, I'm clever.

Well, if casual fans on mp3.com like it, then hardcore Impaled fans might love it, because it's fucking Impaled, dammit. (maybe.)

And also, releasing it so Death after Life gets better reviews is a fantastic, GENIUS idea. Purely.

I have no idea how I got wrangled into joining Impaled after hearing, nay, even HELPING LAY OUT THIS DEMO! It's really goofy.

I'll post my review of Septic Vomit in the style of the vocals on said demo:
