Well..

There has been some information from you concerning promotors and gig-contacts in other threads. So I thought I might make a new one for you..

As you know, we are currently working a lot on gigs many different places. But of course it's not always easy to know who to contact on places you've never been..

So - if any of you have any info, please post it here, and we will see what we can do about it!

Just for easy I'll copy what I wrote in the other thread here.

Tis cool that your trying to get to London, but unfortunatley I don't know any of the promoters in London. Most metal bands tend to play the Underworld in Camden or, preferably, The Mean Fiddler (under The Astoria) in Soho (run by the company of the same name, www.meanfiddler.com).

Any considerations for Oxford? (A bit smaller, but still a great place), try The Club That Cannot Be Named/A+N at the Zodiac www.anconcerts.com

So here we go:
(Warszawa, Poland of course)
Proxima- You have played there with Anathema in January 2004, so you might remember the venue..http://www.klubproxima.com.pl
They don't have english version of the site but if you mail them at klub@klubproxima.com.pl there shouldn't be any problems..

Progresja
This is a very nice place staging progressive and extreme metal artists. They are kinda underground but for bigger events they sometimes use a bigger stage near the actual venue.
They don't have a site in english either but their e-mail adress is klub@progresja.com..

Hope it turns out great:D

for gigs in switzerland see

www.z-7.ch (info@z-7.ch, i have the private email address of the promotor as well tho, let me know when you need it)
in Pratteln, very north of Switzerland

www.bierhuebeli.ch (info@bierhuebeli.ch)
largest venue in Bern, the capital of Switzerland
ask for Matthias Kuratli ;)

www.gaskessel.ch
LOVLIEST venue in Bern, the capital of Switzerland, maybe even beats the Z7... not because of the bands playing there but because of the ambiance in the venue. excellent backstage part and catering. the venue is an old "heating gas storage"-bulb. its so amazing. its just a giant scoop directly at the river, but with amazing sound and light techniques. if you can - go there!

but enough of the gushing

Hello there!

Thanx a lot, keep the info coming. But I hope you realize the difficulties with arranging gigs directly with the venues..

Still very useful information, I will try to do something with this within not too long..
