Yeah, these guys kick ass, especially in the live setting. One of the hardest working bands I know of in Vegas or anywhere else for that matter. They're pretty good friends of mine as well, Blue, Tocci, Fitz (this guy is unreal on the drums, especially live!) totally great guys. Guttural has become increasingly faster and tighter in the technical dept., especially in the live setting, they'll be playing with Skinned this weekend here in town. Guttural's all about hard work and progression as a band. Likewise I have heard tons of great things about Goratory from Guttural. I haven't posted here before though I do stop by to read, I'll introduce myself, I'm Milo, resident metal show taper in Vegas.
Anyway, what Goratory said, check out Guttural Secrete, their website is in the process of being built but they have a profile on myspace at www.myspace.com/gutturalsecrete

Oh yeah! Randy is fuckin' badass as the 2nd guitarist. I saw him play one song as a new member for the first time a few weeks ago and he pretty much had it down note for note and Blue writes some crazy shit on guitar! It's even crazier to see them minus a bass player, I think some folks were skeptical about how'd they sound without a bass but I saw the band as a 2 piece and I think playing as a 2 piece made their live show even more intense.

Guttural Secrete are great live, but they are currently a two piece. I hope they find a new bass player soon.

No, that is incorrect, see above posts. Randy of From the Grave is a new 2nd guitarist thus they're a 3 piece minus a bass player. Right now, I don't think they're missing out on anything by not having a bass player in (although it helps) as they have really come full circle as they are now plus while they did have a bass in the band, it was usually so low in the mixes you could never hear it live. I think they have in fact chosen to operate without a bass player, at least for the moment. They played the Roadhouse Casino in Henderson on Saturday and ripped the crowd a new asshole. They have also begun to use a couple of intro samples during their live show. Also show related, Skinned put on a blistering set; I hadn't seen them before or was really familiar with their recorded stuff (what I had heard I wasn't crazy about) but live they were very energetic and crazy onstage, especially the bassist.
