OK!

We have been rehearsing a lot lately on a new live-set.

It will probably not be possible for us to fulfil all the wishes, but which song do YOU think is a must when we are going to play live in the future?

The bandmembers have their individual thoughts about that, but it would be interesting to hear what you think... Take into concideration that some festival jobs will not be for more than 45 minutes!

Can only tell when i heard the new album, but a definite must is of course 'As Life Flows By'!

Aha. Something tells me you are going to play the Inferno festival, where most bands that don't headline only get 45 min! I've heard some rumors you know...that would have been awesome!!! But if I'm right I know you have to keep your mouth shut until Jan 29th when all the bands are announced....so you don't have to answer. Just me speculating. hehe

Hehe..

But - Buman - it is not only Inferno which is 45 mins for the non-headliners..

You know it's hard to decide before the release of The Quiet Offspring but As Life Flows By and Into Deep would sound awesome live...
As much as the rest of Blessing, but I had to make a choice even though it's painful:)

Lullaby in Winter (my favorite song on Blessing)
Boy in the Attic
In the Realm of the Midnight Sun
The Quiet Offspring
Pile of Doubt
Into Deep
When I Was You

Ah crap, you're right. Still crossing those fingers, though...

Anyway, the songs I want to hear live:
Myron & Cole
Crushed to Dust
Writings on the Wall
The Quiet Offspring
Dead but Dreaming
Place For Me
Under Eternal Star (shorter version perhaps)
Something from "Light of Day..." would be cool to, but I guess you don't have room for that in a 45 min set.

It would be nice to hear "Lullaby in Winter" , and would be nice to hear also the second part of "Lights of Day..."
For example, I'd like to hear the part which goes:

"Out of reach, out of sight
I feel strange and lost,
can you lead me right?
It's too dark for me to see
Capture of soul,
won`t you please forgive me?...."

This part is really making me cry!!!

totally agree...

let's try second part of LoDDoD... I know that it isn't perfect to play only part of this album, but in the end of the day, I just can't imagine your gig without this song. I think that Green Carnation wouldn't be Green Carnation without this song. And for me personally, second part of the album is more personal, intimate... I can feel my own personality there. So... that's my point of view...

It seems like you are right about Inferno.

Hmmm. I bet you got that from Scream Magazine's forum. But we'll know for certain tomorrow! Still crossing those fingers.

Lullaby in Winter will most certainly be added to future live sets. Not exactly how it sounds on record, but more of a "live-version" of the song. Sounds great, really... :)
