that Goratory is basically done writing new music and the drummer is moving to go play with Vile? If so, that really sucks.

I heard something like this....That alan was joining misery index and darren was playing in too many bands so things werent workin out. Darren do not waste your talent with vile. I like them but your way too good. If you left goratory origin would be a perfect fit. Whatever im not beleivin it until someone from the band says somethin about it.

It is true that Darren will be recording with Vile for their new album but he is not moving out their to join permanantly. I think he has talked with them about doing a little touring but i am not sure what the deal is with that. He does do session work and it has always been that way, nothings changed in that aspect. I also was talking a bit with the Misery Index guys about trying jamming a little and trying out for them but i decided not to.

We continuing to write and have 2 new songs already and are working on the 3rd. We have some fests and touring planned for the spring and summer. Things do get a little busy cause myself, Darren, and Max, all have other bands to play out with, write with, and record. BUT, we keep Goratory going as we always have and will actually be playing out more now than we ever have cause of the Europe offers. We are taking a break from playing out for the next couple months while we wait for Max to come back to join but will be ready for shows by late winter.

Hey guys,

Where do you hear this stuff. For me Vile is just a studio project. It started out with me just programming their drum parts for some side work. Then they gave the parts to their drummer so he could learn and record them. It just turned out that they'd prefer to have me do it, i guess it made more sense since i was writing the parts.
I mean, i'm always looking for outside work, studio sessions, drum programming, even short tours. I know the guys from Vile and i just thought it'd be really cool to be on their next CD. So their going to fly me out there and i'll of course get cash for my work. So it's really just a job. I'm not going anywhere. Pillory and Goratory are my 2 main bands right. That's plenty to keep up with.

Ive been thinking about doing studio work for vile. Darren, do you know if colin needs anyone for that ?
