I'm collecting all the different pressings of Alchemist cd's from around the world, and my collection is complete, except for the two Australian releases of 'Organasm' and 'Austral Alien'. Who can help me with these Australian pressings on Chatterbox. I can offer new (still sealed) US releases on Relapse in return.

Well man I don't know which ones were sold overseas.
I would have assumed that it'd be the pics of the ones in the discography section.
I've bought all of mine in Aus and pretty much as soon as they were released cept for Lunasphere and Jar of Kingdom.
But yeah like I said all my albums have the same pics, and I 'm not sure if the songs differ for overseas.
But if they do then just send me an email or something and I can check it out for you.

Hiya Strapping Lad,

the tracklisting from the overseas versions is the same as the Aussie ones. It's just that they were pressed by a different record label. The 'Organasm' and 'Austral Alien' versions I'm looking for are pressed in Australia on the Chatterbox label.
The versions I have in return are US pressings on Relapse records. Same tracklisting, same cover, just a different label. If you can help me that would be great.
It would also be great if someone has a 'Jar Of Kingdom' re-release CD for sale/trade.

Does anybody here have the following Alchemist-releases?:
- "Eternal Wedlock"-Demo (1987)
- "Demo '90"
- "Promos '94"
- "Promo '99"
In addition to that I also am looking for a "The Unknown - Unreleased Tracks 1985-95"-Tape by Coroner!
I'm dying to buy them or trade for them (or at least a copy of them and their booklets / inlays).
I've got "Demo '91" by Alchemist, and both demos by Disharmonic Orchestra and Manos, among other stuff.
Is there anybody here that can help me in this regard and would like to do so?

Pfffff does anyone maybe know where I can get at least the "normal" releases before Organasm? I got the two latest albums at the concert in Belgium, and seeing they were released by Relapse I didn't expect so much trouble to get the other ones... But apparently those were released on another label, and the only way to buy them (I found out so far) was via a very flashy looking Australian mailorder... so where did you guys in Europe got those other CD's? Relapse doesn't seem to have the backcatalogue of Alchemist...

if you check Ebay.com or Gemm.com you might be lucky to find the older Alcha cd's. You have to check often though, as they aren't for sale very often.

Other online mailorder companies might also be of any use.
try redeye.com.au
If not in stock, they might be able to order something maybe.

Best mailorder chances are in Australia, as the older album were only released overthere, expect for the first version of 'Jar Of Kingdom', which was released by a record label from Austria. I found that for 8 euro's in Germany one time.

Start searching, and good luck finding the old Alcha cd's.

I got all the older official Alchemist-CDs from one of the "very flashy looking Australian mailorders". They were not that expensive and sent them to me pretty fast.
