Anyone knows what he is up to now that he is no longer in Nile..? He haven't become a full time member of Dimu Borgir right..???!!

All I know is that he did some gigs with Dimmu Borgir in the US for their last tour there. Don`t think they have a new drummer for the moment. They are going to have a breake for about 1-2 yerars.

I thought Reno had the Dimmu gig, but I know he's back with the mighty Exmortem now(which is a very good thing). Does Reno know whos playing drums for Dimmu now? And I wonder why Reno didnt stay in Dimmu? Did it not work out with them?

Well, Reno have told me some stuff about this, but I think that's a private thing so to speak. But he had problems when they should go to the US.

I presumed that Reno had to be replaced (temporarily) by Tony for the Dimmu US shows as he'd run into problems with US immigration or couldn't sort out the visas in time for the tour start.

However, if there's a bigger problem and Reno is no longer battering the skins of the Borgirs...that would be news to me.

Nonetheless, Reno will bring genius and (above all) velocity to whatever venture he engages in. Respect and best of luck to him!!! Skol!

(Btw, nice move to get him back on-board with Exmortem)

Strange... I love Laureano, but in my mind Longstreth is an even better drummer...

But maybe John is to difficult to work with?
I mean, he changes bands more often than I change underpants!

I just heard that the Angel Corpse reunion IS just a rumour.. :-(
But Bill Taylor and Pete Helmkamp will create a new band called Feldgrau and release an album sometime next year..

Interesting..

Apparently the drums will be done by a drum-computer, though...

Why ? Those guys could get so many good drummers.

Longstreth style is more articulated but less powerful and precise....When I heard I.I.I. of Origin I was blown away, but I heard that Pete Helmkamp opinion about Longstreth was that his drumming is completely inadequate on stage. I also do not like too much Longstreth's work on the last skinless, there are even a couple of errors on that album.

Drummers are alway the biggest problem.....expecially if they are talented and skilled, they become bitches or disinterested. I changed four or five drummers for my band and the only one I'm glad to work with (the current drummer) has been in and out of the band for four times. The problem is that when you have a very good drummer that leaves and you can't find the right replacement, you'd better break up the band. Drum machine is not my cup of tea!

Yeah, but I think Longstreth has improved tenfold as a drummer since his days in Angel Corpse!

IF Angel Corpse should ever return, I personally hope Longstreth will be onboard!
