Well, we have many fans from Poland here, from Austria, Slovakia and Germany. What all these countries have in common? They all lay around Czech Republic! Moreover, Czech Republic is approximately in the middle of Europe, so nobody has to travel too far (sorry my American friends). Good and cheap beer is another pro. ;)
Czech fans are eager to see you here, guys. Don't let us wait for too long!:D

Australia, sure youd be playing to a phonebooth full of people, but still it'd be ideal promotion. Nightwish who are huge in Europe are playing here to 1000 people, and that with no promotion for their concert, just fans on the internet, so if they could do it youd be a shoe in

What venues have you've been offered? To tell you the truth I really don't know how many fans you guys have here (You deserve more anyway) maybe you should inquire your interest in the Copenhagen nightclub called "The Rock" they also have gigs, so far they have been able to get quite famous bands such as.

Artillery.
Sonata arctica.
Sameal.
Evergrey.
Mercenary.
Morbid Angel.
Cannibal Corpse.
Paradise Lost (Comming in May)
Allot of Norwegian black metal bands.

Hey everybody!

After coming home from UK and Ireland yesterday, the amazing feedback on that tour has made us more eager than ever to get back on the road again.

We have something going this late autumn, but we have already started planning the winter months.

So, Dannish, do you think there will be enough interest from the people in your area for us to come and play? And are there some other places that Green Carnation should come and play, I mean where there are lots of people other than you also into Green Carnation??

Country, city/town and agent/contact person if possible would be nice..

Thanx and cheers to all of you!!

Hope to see you on the road then!

I just wanted to let you guys know that I am so glad to hear that you're going to be playing Toronto. I am in a town called Lindsay which is about an hour drive to Toronto. I will BE there. And I read that you wouldn't complain about having more opening acts... a friend of a friend fronts a band out of Leamington, Ontario (nearby Detroit, Michigan). The band goes by the name of Bloodshoteye and they have a definite influence from Lamb of God. If you're at all interested in finding out if they are perhaps interested in joining the bill, their website is http://www.bloodshoteye.com and the booking and contact info is under the 'shows' heading. Anyways, this might be totally ridiculous, but hey... just a thought! Cheers, you guys are wicked!

Hmm.. wouldn't be against me to come to Holland, but we have promised the guys at the ProgPower festival not to play nearby for a while, so the festival apperance will be as exclusive as possible.

But we're hoping to build our name further with the ProgPower gig, and hopefully come back over the new year.. Holland rules!

Hehe my backyard would be ok with me but I think the neighbours might have a slight problem with that.
You guys know De Baroeg? That would be perfect, it 's only like half an hour from my house! I was there last Sunday hehe!

You probably get alot of "Come to my town it rocks" comments but Im still gonna make another one. Since you did a show in Toronto I guess it might be possible for you guys to come to Montreal. I would prefer if you guys could come to Ottawa because its way closer to my place but Montreal is a bigger city, youd have more chances of doing a good show there. There are many different places for shows, from big to small ones. There is the Metropolis and the The Medley that most well known metal bands go to. You can have around 2000 people (well thats my guess) in both places. The Medley is really a nice place for shows, the atmosphere is great. Also there is The Spectrum or The Club Soda if you want to put up a bit smaller show. There is also the bar "Les foufounes Électriques" that sometimes greet bands. WASP did a show there 2 summers ago. After having seen shows in some different towns, I must say that the people attending shows in Montreal usually make the band feel like Kings. And heres a little something to prove what I support (The Quote is from Nick MCbrain, Maiden's drummer, and it is about the show they did on August 2nd 2003) : "Well I can tell you this (Québec City) show and Montreal were most definitely on the top five list of Maiden shows ever. The audience and the way we played at these two gigs were unsurpassable. ‘Kin amazing nights. The only way to explain this is you had to be there to feel it. Magic couple of nights. The third gig was in Toronto on the Sunday night. This was a great gig as well but lacked a little, I don’t know, Magic maybe. It is so hard to explain what makes something more special or different than others but it was still a fantastic evening. " Heres another one about the show they did on Jan. 20th 2004 : "We had a great gig in Montreal, nearly 10,000 fans were there, which is incredible as we only played at the same venue last August!! And they always give us a huge welcome - thanks guys or should it be merci."

Anyway, my point is that Im sure if you guys came to MTL (cause I dont think youve ever did a show there, have you?) you could do a kick ass show.

Also, Im pretty amazed that members from the band actually answer their fans and listen to them on this forum. Keep it up and most of all, keep making great music!

I got all of the above from http://ukmu.proboards58.com/index.cgi?board=promoters&action=display&thread=1126538482.
There is also info about promoters in other parts of the UK there as well. I don't know who out of that list would be best, but there should be someone on there who would be suitable for putting on either Green Carnation or Chain Collector. Hope that this is useful.

Definetely in Serbia or Bosnia, or anywhere in former Yugoslavia... You have got a lot of fans here, although you probably don't know that, if you just look at the sales of your discs... Pirates rule this goddamn Balkans... Although I own all the originals :) (except "The burden is mine...Alone", it looks like it is impossible to find it here)...

Anyway, it would be great to see you guys here! The last time I talked to a friend of mine who works for a promotion agency in Belgrade, I asked him about their plans for the next period, and among the couple of bands he mentioned, was GC (so he is now mine best friend, hehe)... That would be mine musical dream come true... So if you guys are approached by some Belgrade promoters, don't turn it down!

I don't get it, but it just seems to be that way, some bands never become established in some countries by some reason.

Well... I´d say somewhere not to big, yet famous.. Klubben in Fryshuset, Stockholm. Loads of good shows there, takes about 100-200 (don't know for sure)..
It is a real good stage.

otherwise, if you want even smaller, try Cafe 44.. takes about 50 ppl, plus, it is pretty ease to get a gig there, just bribe Tompa (the owner... at least he was the owner..) :)
