ya, i'd love to see Fuck I'm Dead. But it definatley would blow if I only had 2 bands ever to see live.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT MAN, you are going to alot of shows. I think I would go broke ass way to quick doing that but hey, looks like a damn god time.

My next 2 shows are PsyOpus next week and the Skinless dvd release show in Nov. I just saw Burn in Silence yesterday and they tore it up. It is our old bass players band. It was a sick show and and was pretty fucking packed.

I'm not sure what is going on with the Vag. Carnage camp. Hadn't heard anything about Jay doing vocals, although that is a certain possibility.

I agree that more bands need to come our way. Erik (DoF) told a few people that he is interested in bringing down more Unique Leader bands, so that's something atleast. Disgorge were meant to be coming down around January/February (rumour of course) but that looks unlikely now they left UL.

But who knows. Maybe Deeds will come back with another UL band in the near future.

Its hard to find promoters down their unless your in a big band. It is easy to book Europe, Japan, US, and Canada but i would have no idea of how to even start pursuing an Australian tour. Is their a large scene their??

Massive scene. Melbourne is the grind capital of the world. You'd get a great turnout. Great support bands too. Hell, even Psycroptic get ~250-300 people per show. International bands.. :D. If you ever need more details on how to set up a tour or anything (outside chance, I know - but still) I've got a few people I could contact with that would help you get well on your way.

SS would be great to see!

I'll contact SS this weekend about it and see how they are getting their. If they can't bring us along then I would definatly apreciate the info. If SS dosn't know how they are getting their, possably we could get them to come with us. We would have to get hooked up with an Australian band for the tour also though so we could use their equiptment.

So if you know people that can help us, I give you my garentee that we will come!!!!

How is our fanbase in Australia??

Pretty damn good, it is getting quite large. Most the people in the "know" (sounds quite gay, I know) are well aware of Goratory.

There are plenty of good Aussie bands that could support, trust me!

when you say use their equiptment. what do you mean? you'd borrow their amps and drum kits?? or do you mean like PA systems, sound desks, monitors and what not?

goratory
10-23-2004, 03:41 PM
amps and drum kits. It is really hard and very expensive to bring our equiptment on the plane with us so whenever we travel, we use other peoples gear.

i talked to the band and everybody really wants to go. If you know any tour promoters willing to bring us then tell them we will come. Something in June would be ideal but we will come anytime. If you can talk to some people and let me know the details if anything works out, that would be great

a NZ promotor

He's called Rigel(i think...), he's also in a local band called Dawn Of Azazel. he promoted the NZ portion of the incantation tour last year.
you can reach him at dawnofazazel@hotmail.com

i'm still looking for the contact details for the guy who promoted deeds of flesh earlier this year.

good luck
