I had the chance to speak to Adam on tuesday regarding the European tour, the next album, DVD plans, album re-issues, downloading music and a fair bit of other stuff.

PyroMusic.net - Interview with Adam (http://www.pyromusic.net/index.php?p=interviews/alchemist_adam/int_alchemist_adam)

Comments welcome.

Great article. It's rare to read much about Alchemist - a recent interview in Drum Media only covered their European tour, so to get some personal insight from Adza is fantastic.

Thanx a lot for this extensive interview!
I didn't know Adza was in Wacken. Otherwise I'd have gone there just to say hi to him!
I'm pretty surprised that that the band takes so much of their equipment with them. But hey, I'm not a musician, what do I know about these things? ;)

Thanks Mick and Mary. I got the impression from Adam it would cost almost as much to hire stuff, and for just a little more I'd want to use my own stuff too if I could.

These fees are a rip-off!

I only hope none of their stuff gets lost ... it's happened before! *sniff*
Oh, I didn't jinx it, did I? ;)

Adam and Roy seem to be the two guys that I can remember giving out interviews, so we will have to see ;)

If I'm planning another interview at some point I'll be sure to drop by and see if there's anything you'd like answered.

I have read interviews with Rodney as well. John seems to be the "shy guy". But I'd be particularly interested in learning more about Nick, the new guy.
