New album?

Wasn't it said on the site late last year that you guys had a s/t album in the works for sometime this year? I apoligize if I may be a bit behind in the news.

Press Statement: November 18, 2003

***As everyone should know, ABSU are currently on temporary hiatus ever since the early portion of 2003. There has been some obstruction, yet rigidity in the past couple of years for the band, but nothing solemn at all. ABSU has not disbanded in any way, shape or form; ABSU are temporarily on retreat from the mortal manifestation of Earth and the music business. ABSU will return in 2004 with the self-titled album, "Absu," as well as an EP to follow.
It would be awesome if someone could update us on this, if its still gonna happen etc, if we've come accross some new obstacles. Tara was amazing, its hard to imagine something topping it, but any follow up would be fucking brilliant.

Ahh nice hes setting up a label. Good on ya mcgovern, no doubt couldent have picked many better icons to do it heh. Awesome.

Well it must be somewhere in the works ( I hope. ) considering Osmose Productions has it up on it's page as to be released this year.
Well, I can't wait for this album.
The return to Sumerian mythology is a great move by the band.

Definitily, oh and i didnt realise it was up on osmose - awesome, maybe we can squeeze some form of release into what tiny bit of space there is left in htis year.
