I dont know about the rest of these forumvisitors, but I'm starting to get a bit impatient about the new album...

So what's happing 'dans le pays du vin'? (in France that is... ;) )

When are we going to hear something? When will recordings be over, and when will the album be 'unleashed'?

Keep us updated...

All the best in Paris...

hello there!

yes.. we have been in marseille for one and a half week now, with producer terje refsnes, and we are having a great and very creative time..

kobro went home to norway today. he finished the drum recording before the weekend.. and this week stein roger has finished the bass on all the songs and the guitars for four songs..

tomorrow we will continue recording guitars, with terje doing his songs first, and michael next..

kenneth is working on lots of different ideas on keyboards..

and i am lying in the sun, having a bath with the vocal recordings still in several days.. no.. i am working on the vocals with the different composers every day. we had much of it finished before we came here, but everything is of course always up for discussion.

hope this helped a little bit.

That always seems really random to me that members of the band come along, record their parts & then bugger off. Doesn't seem right somehow...

Well, that's how the recordings of probably any album you own, went :).

I listen to a lot of DT & so on though where at least one member of the band produces the album but I guess the rest do sod off. I don't know, with every band I've recorded, for however long we've been in the studio, we've all been around giving input into everything.

Ho hum, the heady world of the big time ;¬)

Ofcourse the best thing is to participate during the whole recording, but in this case we went to Terje Refsnes at the french riviera. I have a family to support back home, and just sitting around for 2 weeks is too expensive for me. So, I had to bugger off and go back to work at home.

I think I read somewhere that the new album is going to be heavier than Blessing, is this the same direction the band is heading with?????
Dont care either way just curious.
