so to help make this forum a bit more active i will start with some sort of topic....
describe your first experience seeing/meeting CRISIS. give us the who,what,when and where.

I first saw Crisis at the show they had at the Diamond Ball Room. When they played there on the 19th. The first person I talked to in the band was Josh. Hes a very nice person btw. Me and my friend hung around him for most of the show.

okay so i first met them when they played in el paso(texass) in '95 i think.they opened for pro pain and voivod.
i saw karyn walk by me and go straight to the bathroom.so i turned to the guy next to me and said,"that's her and guess what - she's going where YOU can't go!"then i laughed and followed her into the bathroom. (how romantic)
it was a VERY long night.
met gia and afzaal.there was a different drummer at the time.i think his name was scott or brian or something.fred had already left the band.
i'll go more into detail later....

i first saw crisis when they opened for pro-pain at the voodoo lounge in austin texas. i saw karyn and afzaal standing to the side before they went on to play. i walked up and asked karn to sign my dollar bill i had with me. she signed it and then afzaal and gia signed it as well. i asked if i could video-tape the set and they said sure! we also had a camera with us and took lots of pictures! after they played i talked to afzaal forfreakingever! we even compared tattoos! i was expecting them to be like most bands that i meet, sign autographs, take a couple of pictures, and then say fuck off. they are not only a cool band but laid back people! i have seen them play every time they come to austin since that night! i can't wait until they come back, even though my husband and i just saw them on august 20th at the back room! btw jwyanza is a great addition to the band! he is a really cool person! i also think that josh is a really great drummer! i haven't gotten the chance to meet him yet but he kicks arse on the drums!
