Absu are not disbanded. Proscriptor even said so on the news section of their website. They are releasing a new album sometime in 2004 simply titled Absu. Just because Equitant left does not mean they are done. They already found someone else.

Who did Absu find in replacement for Equitant?
What's going on with Proscriptor and Slayer? Did he get chosen to play drums for them yet?

Proscriptor was one of the finalists, but is not playing for Slayer because as we all know Dave Lombardo is behind the kit again.

i've heard that he wasn't recruited because of his personal characteristics, which has nothing to do with his playing abilitites...
slayer described him as a "paranormal contour"...
i wonder if you've read this as well and what do you think about about that, in case it's the truth...

Coool!!!! it's a pity they don't have more attention from the scene, I was thinking they were disbanded too!! and I wonder why so few threads in this forum dedicated to this amazing band?:rolleyes:

Well, not only Equitant left, but Shaftiel is said ot be not so much interested in the band. So is he gone, or just not writing stuffs but still playing in the band?
ps. I do have the unreleased Halstattian Swords EP :-)
