Is that really the Equitant Iīm thinkink of??

If thats so, welcome!

I donīt know, I really like all the releases, but "Barathrum:..." and "The Sun of..." really mean something special for me. Maybe because Absu were one of the first Black Metal bands that iīve bought CDīs. It was "Barathrum:... and Mardukīs "Those of the Unlight".
Very special times indeed...

I'd go with 'In the Eyes of Ioldanach'
That is my all time favourite.

With songs like 'VITRIOL' and 'Never blow out the Eastern Candle'
It was their best.

Yes, well my 2nd fave would have to be "In The Eyes..." I was VERY pleased how the guitars and Bass came out. This was the only recording Marshall amps were not used. Shaftiel used a local Texas amp called "Fatboy amps" and I used "Peavy amps" for the bass...both using B.C. Rich guitars and Boss pedals.

And nothing can beat Proscriptors drum work on the track VITRIOL. Insane!

So It's close for me.."Tara" and "In The Eyes..." I like both!

Thanks for the kind words guys, E

The drum work on 'in the eyes...' was fantastic,
Perhaps not as fast as Tara, but the technicality was amazing.
The handwork was totally unrivaled in it's genre.
On Tara the drumming of songs like 'Pillars of Mercy' ( that intro is amazing. ) and 'Stone of Destiny' is unbeatable for foot speed.
But songs like 'Never blow out the Eastern candle' and 'VITRIOL' showed us the handwork and style that makes Proscriptor a legend in his genre.
oh and,
BC Rich guitars? Excellent!
I'm a proud supporter of the old BC Rich, I have an Ironbird and nothing suits my style better.
