That would hurt more on the eyes. The blue hurts because it shows more of a contrast (as compared to the dark gray of the text). A white or light gray would show more of a contrast, which wouldn't be fun to deal with.

I think the main text (such as this, yes this text right here) should be white. Maybe the stuff in blue can be changed to this color gray. There's a bit of a clash going on at the moment.

white is gonna hurt your eyes a lot more than any of this baby blue, which isn't bad at all. just make the main text a little lighter, and maybe change the thread links to be a slight bit darker than the pure white that they are, because like I said, white on black is an eyesore

Honestly, after thinking about it, though the current color scheme does work fine, this board now looks like some shitty EZ Board or some board made by a 15 year old. The older style at least looked somewhat more professional, in my opinion.

I've found that white on black is easier to read than black on white, especially on a computer screen. But even if this text isn't changed to white, it definitely needs to be up a level or two in brightness.
