Camping for CIM 2008

some people have asked me if their is any camping close to the venue....well....a place called TIN CUP camp area in Mahomet,IL is about 15 to 20 minute drive down I 74 to the venue and i have heard nice and cheap....will post more info as i find out more information....

We're staying at the Red Roof Inn for 55-65 bucks per night. Since we're sharing a room the costs are even lower per person.
The drive from Red Roof Inn to the CIM club is about 10 minutes.

So, this is perhaps an alternative for the folks who are considering to camp out.

Lastly, the Red Roof Inn has this strong Overlook hotel vibe going. We were pretty much the only guests they had last year.

I'm staying at the blue star inn which is only $45 a night! I stayed there last year and it is about a 10-15 minute walk to the venue.

Thanks for the info. I saw a camping site through google @ 15$ a night. I might do that 45$ hotel. I was wondering about the extent of the bus/cab system in Urbana in case I take a train there...
