New update May 27th 2008:
Hails to y’all!
As some of you might have heard, our drummer Romain Goulon has taken a job on in German Deathmetallers “Necrophagist”. We wish him all the best and luck playing for these sicko’s. We’re gratefull to him for taking part in Arsebreed for the last few years. He has put Arsebreed on a higher standard that we could ever wish for. Also a kick-ass guy to work with and even better on the personal side. Thanx Romain! Horns up!!!
Now that Romain is playing along with Necrophagist, it has some serious consequences for Arsebreed in the near future. As we are still working hard to finish all our new songs for the album, which is not very far away indeed, Romain’s involvement in the new album is not entirely sure. Although he is willing to record the new album with us, he can’t simply say how much of his time is being consumed by his new band. Anyway, the new songs are gonna be recorded all the same. We simply have to wait and see what our options are in a few months time. Right now we are focussing on recording all the material with the “drumkit from hell” and it should be considered as a demo. Robbe V (Pyaemia/Disavowed) is helping us out with programming the drumtracks in his particular “Robbe V” style. It should be interesting enough anyway.
I think the only certain thing at this moment is that Romain is not gonna play any live shows with us anymore.
For that reason we’re thinking of looking for a drummer who’s capable to play our songs for live shows on a session base. We simply love to play live shows and want to continue doing that. So, it’s certainly not the last you’ve seen and heard of us!
As soon we finished the new songs we’ll let you know.
Hails, Daniel from Arsebreed.
