Its ok telling people they're shit when they shit. Its even ok sometimes to tell people they're shit when they aren't. Telling people they aren't shit when they are is bad. couldn't stand the antics of the interviewer, but whatever. The questions weren't bad, and i actually thought it was nice to not hear about the music the whole time since every other interview is harping on Colors being a concept album and a departure from the Alaska sound, blah blah blah.

As far as them busting on the board, I can' really blame them. There's a lot of people on here that like to talk shit constantly about the band. I'd be annoyed too. It just sucks that it somewhat ruins the band's opinion of the people on here because there's also a lot of guys that straight up love the band and never really get down on them.

i hated the interview based solely on the volume. it ranged from being very quiet to extremely loud. i had my remote control in hand, literally changing the volume every 15 seconds. it can mainly be attributed to not holding the microphone at a consistent distance from your mouth.

Aaaaand, the sound in that room was pretty shitty. We have gotten a 2nd mic since then, so that should hopefully assist things. Wireless mics cost quite a bit of money ($600 per wireless system) so we're not quite there yet.

The band asked us numerous times not to put up the full songs simply because the venue completely fucked them over and they had terrible sound in their monitors, resulting in some not-so-pleasant results. Thats all that was salvageable.

Guys, I'm sorry but thats all we're really going to release from both those shows. For the Halloween show, all we got was that up close footage, and we couldn't get linked into the sound board so it sounded awful. As for the Saints and Sinners show, that was about all the footage we could really use. The band themselves asked us not to release the footage because the sound guy was totally fucking up. The pieces we showed were the only parts where it didn't sound like complete dog shit.
