The Iron Man movie looks cool and I never got huge into the Iron Man comics so I don't go in as a full on Iron Man comic nerd looking over every little thing like I do with most comic book movies.

The dude that played Frank Castle in this didn't seem like enough of a hard ass that the Punisher really is. Anyone read Garth Ennis' Punisher? It's awesome.

I like both movies, the new one i like ALOT more. Tom Jane is awesome as frank castle. Hes not even gunna be in the new one that theyre making :(

I just had Frank Castle built up in my mind as a dude that's like 6'5" 250 lbs of all muscle and a stare that could punch a hole through your face. John Travolta didn't help me either, that guy is a fucktard.

I didn't enjoy it as much as the comic or animated series. A full on badass evil Spawn would rule. Plenty of stories they could delve into with it.

Original punisher was decent, newer one BLEW DICKS sorry.
Neither really captured the spirit of the comic but at least the Lundgren one went close (cos that guy is brutal, or was).

I somehow appreciated the new one for trying to bring back the 80's action on the big screen but it didn't liked it much. Not something that i would watch again for sure. Plus Lundgren was a brutal fucker in the first flick. Remember the scene where Lundgren and some other dude simply massacrate an entire Yakuza dojo with submachine guns? Damn..

The original is badass. The newer one was OK although I have a shitload of fucking gripes about it. (Mostly with pretty boy Tom Jane). The new punisher, called Punisher: War Zone is going to be awesome. Its coming out september 12. It's directed by this former K-1 fighter chick. Mostly drawing inspiration from the MAX series (the adult oriented one with mucho violence and shit) Here are some pics of Ray Stevenson, that dude from Rome, as the punisher.
