What year and how were they?

I keep kicking myself for not seeing them when I was younger. I should have seen them when they were touring with Guns N Roses. I'm probably going to see them next year if they tour the states regardless.

Still, wish I could've seen them in the glory days of metal.

Same here. The very first tape I got was Justice. They are and will be my fav band... Probably the only band I like that I haven't seen yet. I figure I'llprobably be disapointed if I see them now.

I saw them for free back in 96 I think. they fucking SUCKED, haha. late 80's/early 90's would have been the time to see them.

Would have been awesome to see them in '91...unfortunately I was only 5 years old at the time.

Seen 'em 2 years ago or so. Except for the 2 'St. Anger' songs, they were pretty good.

I saw them on the tour for the black album, and it was boring.

Still a band that I want to see but haven't. As everybody has said, I wish I could have seen them in the 80's...

Saw 'em when they came to Iceland.
Wasn't too bad, but man would I have wanted to be seeing them 10 years earlier.

I would have killed to have seen them 15 years ago. But I refuse to see them now as I know I would be disappointed.

saw them on the Justice tour (in 89 or 90 I suppose) - one of my first metal gigs and it was AWESOME!! they were in fine form and really kicked arse - highlight was probably the minute long "Die" chant during Creeping Death and the spine tingles when they kicked the guitars back in - played all the good stuff and as the black album wasn't out they couldn't play any of that crap -only bummer was no Ride The Lightning as thats my fave song of theirs - I think they opened with Blackened but fucked if I could remember any other set order - great gig and my neck was wrecked for weeks

I am sort of bummed I didn't see the black album tour as they played with Kyuss who I'd have loved to have seen live

I saw em in 94. It was my first concert/show/whatever and it's still one of the best I've ever seen.

saw them at the big day out when there was a huge fucken storm happening. They played ride the lightning, and there were huge bolts of lightning going the whole time in the distance behind the stage. was cool

Saw them at the Big Day Out too, however no lightning here and stinking hot. Crazy big day out sardine pit, was right near the front. James' vocals sucked but the rest of the band was awesome. Creeping Death was epic win

seen them 2 times since 00 (not sure of the numbers) and it was fucking cool both times. i think the st.anger songs work very well live too. yeah, it would have been cool to have seen them in the 80's or something, but they're still a really cool live band, i reckon.

I saw them in 2004 at the big day out. Kirk played solos over the St. Anger songs! :O and he stuffed up the intro to fade to black! (it was kinda funny though) oh yeah and at one point he threw his drink into the crowd and it hit me right in the face!!

It was delicious!!! bOnana

I skipped trying to get tickets the last few times they came just because it would ruin it for me. I've watched my old cassettes of 80's shows too many times to not expect something like that. there's no band I want to see as much as I would have liked to see Metallica around '89...

2003 and from what i remember they were pretty good, despite the fact they played a few songs off St. Anger.

my dad took me to arco in like 88 and I still have that tour shirt!! Although to fit into it I would have to vacum seal myself. From what I remember it was fucking amazing. To bad that they suck so much ass now. That movie destroyed metallica for me. Shitty music is one thing but that movie made them super gay!
