just got back from seeing them. holy fuck Mason wasn't kidding, this shit was insane. the perfection of the music, the huge pig and kangaroo, the light show, the awesome weed before the show, fuck it was too good. GO SEE IT if your a fan and they come near your town. fucking incredible. I kind of wished they would have done "The Wall" though like I heard, their bassist sounds almost exactly like Waters so it would have been cool. either way, still amazing.
setlist:
The Dark Side Of The Moon in it's entirety
15 minute break
Shine On You Crazy Diamond
Sorrow
Learning To Fly
some song from "The Final Cut" I didn't recognize
Pigs (Three Different Ones)
Wish You Were Here
Astronomy Domine
One Of These Days
Nobody Home
Hey You
Comfortably Numb
Run Like Hell

that's a badass setlist
edit:
they're playing in my hometown in february, but the ticket prices are way too high. 40 - 60 euros for a pink floyd cover band? hell no

I was skeptical about going at first too. Tickets cost me $36 but I figured I would rather see a cover band play some of the greatest music ever written then see some shitty original prog rock band try and make music from that era. It was worth every fucking penny too.

It was worth it to me. They do a really great job at recreating the songs from the albums. If you're a Floyd fan, it's a must.

word. thanks for starting a thread about this about a year ago. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have even known they existed or were coming to my town.

I just hope it met your expectations. There's no way you could ever compare the magic that Pink Floyd was during the 70's live, but this is still pretty damn enjoyable.

I know it doesn't even come close to comparing the real deal in the 70's but dude, it surpassed my expectations. I was really scared that I wasn't going to like it cause I knew it just wouldn't be the same with their voices and the vibe and everything. Didn't have to worry about that. They sounded soooo damn close when singing and in a live situation like that, who cares anyway? The huge pig and kangaroo they brought had me trippin out for awhile. I couldn't even rock out really, my eyes were focused on what everyone was doing the whole time, haha. The light show was incredible, and it seemed DSotM went by so quickly when they played it. Very surreal show, one of the best concerts I've ever been too (Floyd's music live/loud is fucking POWERFUL!) and I would definitetly go again. I want to see them do "The Wall" now.

The light show is absolutely stunning. I really hope that they tour next year, but play The Wall. I was so looking forward to that.
How about the solo on Time? Wow.

that was awesome. the crazy green lights they had were the shit. and the videos that went along to the songs.... awesome! the way they synced up together for the Money solo was sooo tight too. damn those guys are good. and the extended Comfortably Numb solo just like on the P.U.L.S.E. dvd... fuck, I had to shed a tear.

I'd have to say that seeing and hearing Shine On, in my lifetime is one of the greatest gifts anyone could ask for.

haha, their sax player looked like Ryan Gosling too. that dude nailed the opening guitar lick in Shine On You Crazy Diamond. Sounded just like Gilmour. one of those back up singers was pretty cute too. damn I want to go again.

Shit, I guess they played from sheet music? 3 hours is pretty wild to play by heart even if you grew up listening to the band.
