do you have any useful tips on using a Pod (i have an X3) plugged into the FX return on an amp? like what kind of settings should i adjust to keep it steady, balanced and present in the room? i need help for using it during band practise...

hmm personally i never liked the pod in the fx loop, makes the amp sound like a pod which is something i dont like
get a gmajor is my advice

but for now, i´m stuck with a crappy solid state amp! :P

so yeah... i´m guessing treble and bass has to go down a bit, since those are the frequencies that are accentuated when you play stuff loud...

and btw, i meant using the amp models, bypassing the preamp in my crappy amp :P
