Ok, so I've been playing guitar for a pretty decent amount of time, but one thing I don't really understand is amps. So I have a Line 6 Spider III 150 watt, and so far for the moderate amount of gigging at small venues I've been doing it's been fine. But assuming I maybe want to route my Combo amp through a cabinet, which I've been told I can do, what are some things I should know? Anything particularly important to remember or do?
Keep in mind the Ohms... make sure your combo's juice can handle the cab you're hooking it up to... but if it were me, if I was thinking about getting a cab, I would SERIOUSLY ditch the Spider altogether and upgrade the whole rig.

^I have the same amp, but the 120W version. I plan to just upgrade to the 150W head/300W 4x12 cabinet in the future. Line 6 rules.
If I were you... I'd ditch the spider series and upgrade to a -real- line6 head like an HD147...
