I know everyone hits the Incinerate forum and has already seen this. :emot-LOL: But for those that haven't...
Jackson SL1 - I picked this up a few weeks ago. Couple nights ago I installed the APC21 Persuader Lead Bridge Pickup.

That's damn sexy Scott, except the lightning reminds me of those cheesy air-brushed Indian/wolf shirts you can buy at truck stops. Haha
I bet you're loooving that pickup ;)

Yeah, I hear ya. I'm not a huge fan of graphics on guitars, but I thought this was pretty tame compared to most. Not to mention I didn't want another plain black guitar. And lastly, I got a really sick deal on this - $800 under the normal retail price. So I just couldn't pass it up.

Yeah, I really like the pickup. The neck is extremely comfortable too.

I have the same but an sl-2. I have emg-81`s but I need either 85`s or something new. The 81`s don`t really click with the alder body.

Anyone else out there have a guitar with this pickup configuration - HB, S, S - one thing I have found that is really annoying me, is that when I'm playing, my pick hits the top of that middle single coil pickup once and a while. Anyone else have that problem. If I try I can avoid it, but it sucks having to purposely try to avoid it while playing. It only seems to happen when alternate picking 8th notes on the top string.
just lower the pickup a bit

I had that problem, then I just lowered the fuck out of the middle single coil. You should get used to it as well, as time goes on.

Yeah, I do. I just got used to it and that isn't a problem anymore.
