Hi guys,
Just to let everyone know Dustie recorded his guitar solo on End of the Matter, about 2 weeks ago at the studio with me. Im Ryan of Das War, we have been friends for a very long time. On my solo record Dustie and I will be laying down more tracks together which we havent done in a very long time. Anyways, if you are interested in hearing his guitar solo or just want to check out Das War's other material. Check out Dustie and Ryans guitar solos in End of the Matter over at www.soundclick.com/daswar

www.myspace.com/daswar

Dustie's solo is first and mine (Ryan Reedy of Das War/Adonaii/Code) is the second one.
We hope you guys like any of the other material we have as well. It is very different from BTBAM stuff but hopefully someone will enjoy. If you want you can check out our myspace as well.

Cheers
Ryan of Das War

His solo is fine...........I think he feels he could have done way better. Dont we all do that though.......Everytime I lay something down, I always think it could have been better. He just dropped by the studio one night and him and I just hit record. Its not like he had time to prep it. He had to go on the Canadian tour.

I thought it was all good. I'll give any artist a chance if they list Living Sacrifice as an influence.

I know what you mean. Probably never happen, though... Seems like everyone is doing something big now - Jason Truby playing guitar in POD (wtf?), Corey sings for Norma Jean (WTF?)... I talk to Rocky every once in a while since he quit drumming for Evanescence, and him and Lance are pretty hardcore into Soul Embraced again. They're even writing some new shit, so you might check them out: myspace.com/soulembraced . Never talked to Bruce a day in my life, so I have no idea what kind of musical projects he has going on. If you know of any, let a ninja know.

And yeah, the Hammering Process production was ridiculous. Barry Poynter is one of the best, and his rates are pretty fair, too.

I have heard all of Colors............we heard it at the studio. When he did that solo he let me and the guys of Adonaii hear it. Ill be honest in my opinion it crushes the old stuff.

Thanks man................Manifesto has seems to be the tune that people like from Das War. We are most definitely not technical at all. You can see that crazy stuff in my fusion band Adonaii. We just enjoy writing solid flowing material. At least thats what we try to do.

What does Das War sound like to you? We are trying to find an identity with who we sound like.
Thanks

Thanks man..............The main thing we are looking to accomplish with the album is really to make the money back we spent on the studio that we built to record it.

I live by this philosophy.

I hate those FIH songs that the other dudes wrote, but I can honestly say I played those leads and riffs as perfect as possible.

Hey dude - dug the tunage. What kind of gear did you record with...thats some solid tone.

Guitars used: Dillion Custom Lucite, Ibanez RG, as well as the 7string tunage was Ibanez RG7, and Fernandes 7 with Lundgren pickups.

Amps: Line6 Vetta2 combos, and the good ol Peavey 112

Recorded with Cubase Sx3, Drumkit From Hell Superior, TCElectronics Preamp, Ensoniq DP4, Digitech Rp2000, WaveLab Mastering, and some great tips from Jamey Scott of the "Gears of War" soundtrack, and sound design legend.

On our tune Creation Evolution Destruction, we were going for a Mesh tone. Towards the middle we seemed to hit it. I think..............lol
