It was tight, but it was by far one of the hottest shows I've been to. It was ridiculous. Also, because of the god damn curfew we didn't get Fire For A Dry Mouth or Mordecai. New stuff sounded tight, Foam Born was very TSC-esque and Sun of Nothing was all over the place. Maybe a little TOO all over the place, but it had some awesome parts. And I was so happy when they played ALL of Shevanel, usually they cut it off right before the clean part. All in all they were spot-on as usual.

Yeah... I mean, I liked it but I think it had some pretty weird transitions and they crammed a LOT of riffs together that might have sounded better had they fleshed them out a bit more rather than going from riff to riff so quickly. That was just my first impression though, with a few more listens I'm sure I'll warm up to it more. The last half or so was straight up amazing though.

And now that you mention it I'm not sure if they played Foam Born first, I forgot they were rotating new songs. They didn't say what it was.

I went and the setlist was as follows:

Decade Of Statues
All Bodies
Camilla Rhodes
Shevanel Cut A Flip
Sun Of Nothing
Backwards Marathon
Selkies

And for the record, starting a show with a new song is a terrible idea.
And it was hot as balls.

Most disappointing moment of the night: "This next song is called Fire For A Dry Mouth... (sound guy says they have 10 minutes left) Okay nevermind, this is Backwards Marathon".

If they were like:

"This song is called (Ad a Dglgmut, More of Myself to Kill, Lost Perfection, or Aesthetic) Wait, nevermind, this is backwards marathon"

I'd seriously be on the warpath
