Just heard the new Malevolent Creation and how this can be practically the same line-up as on "Eternal" is beyond me!
The new album is so extremely boring and uninspired ... I'm shocked!!!

While we're at it... the new Obituary bored the crap out of me as well and Santollas annoying lead guitar style doesn't help the album the least bit!!! PHEW!!

Buuuuut ... I, on the other hand, strongly recommend the coming Gorefest album. This one is soo fucking intense, groovy and well produced. I actually think it tops "False" if we put nostalgia aside!!! ALL HAIL GOREFEST!!!

Haven't heard any of them yet, but didn't expect much either in the first place.

Agree completely!

Especially Obituary. I don't think Santolla's style really fit that band, but then again, I didn't think he was good in Deicide either. I mean, he was *good*, but the result was simplistic riffs over double bass drumming with occasional power metal solo's. Annoyed me like nothing else.

Just got (WACO JESUS - Receptive When Beaten) and its crushing and fast.
Unmerciful - Unmercifully Beaten (incredible).
Nailshitter - From The Bowels Of The Impaled, some killer Florida DM here.
No disappointments yet.

Anyway, Odious Mortem and Sickening Horror are two bands I definitely recommend checking out!

Yeah Odium is shredding pretty sweet.

Still haven't got my hands on that Unmerciful album...

I think I've said it before, but the new Monstrosity album is absolutely astonishing. Haven't heard this type of catchy death metal since the mid nineties... very recommended!
