That's waht I did. Asked three dudes bout it and got 1 reply so far. Along with saying that the Sun Of Nothing song was really good, he also didn't recognize the first song they played so he figured it was also a new song.

I really hope someone gets a video of the new shit soon. I remember 2 years ago watching live videos of All Bodies, Selkies, Alaska, and Roboturner before the cd leaked. They were all super good quality too. It was awesome.

How was it though?

I don't remember because I assumed it was something from the first album so I wasn't listening too intently. I just remember it was very fast and brutal, no clean breaks or anything. Sun of Nothing had a bunch of clean breaks, including one that reminded me of a bar in the old west, complete with Tommy going "doot doo doo dooooooo." But it was still very structured and more reminiscent of The Silent Circus than the more open-ended clean parts in Alaska.

I was privileged to hear a promo copy of the new album (although the guy who had it refused to burn me a copy... understandable) and it was fucking awesome. When they drop into their melodic parts the soundscape is rich and vibrant and totally awesome. There's sort of a gypsy music part on the CD that makes me think Gogol Bordello. All in all, absolutely amazing CD. It's like they took the best parts of Alaska and Silent Circus and put em together.
