Hey Ville,
Haven't heard from you in a while, just wanted to make sure that everything was going smoothely with whatever yall are doing. Which leads to the question: "What is Mors Principium Est doing right now?"

Ok, i have to admit that maybe i havent been writing here a lot, but thats only because it seems that nobody wants to write to me. why, WHY?? :) just joking
What are we doing? Well, we are writing new stuff for our second album and i have to say, the new songs sound pretty good.
So, thats what we are doing.
We have not forgotten you, so just keep on posting. :)

Excellent Ville, I can not wait to hear the new stuff. Inhumanity was easily one of my top 5 last year. You guys will have to post some of the new stuff whenever it gets mastered. I am throughly looking forward to hearing it. Any dates set on when you will be entering the studio? Hopefully we can get another MPE album out this year.

Hello again!
We will go to studio at september and we will be there for 4 weeks. So it seems that the album will come out in the beginning of 2005.
So, atleast then you will get some new stuff.
We have been thinking that maybe a video could be cool, but nothing is for sure, atleast not yet.

That is quite a long time from now. A video would definately be a great idea. As long as you don't do something to the extent of Norther's video for Mirror of Madness, that had to be the worst video ever. I know you have seen it Ville. Don't do something like that, it if just better to not make a video.

Ville, I haven't forgotten about you. COME BACK AND CHAT!
Hi!
I read that the keyboard will be more present on the next record, will it sounds more atmospheric, and will the tracks be longer?
Tracks on Humanity are so short, it fits me well, and to many headbangers i think, but don't you feel like creating longer tracks, kind of progressive songs?

Hi Thib!
Sorry that it took so long for this answer, but here it is.
About the keyboards. Hmmm. In some songs they are more in the front, but still they are not a solo instrument.
And in some songs there are no keyboards or they are on the background. That's all i can say about them at this point.
And about the length. Well, it's hard to say. I thought that the songs on Inhumanity were long, but i think the songs on the new album will be about the same length as the songs on Inhumanity.

So a more atmospheric approch.

i hope the production is as good as it was on inhumanity. I'm a sound engineer and that is one of the best metal recordings I've ever heard. As far as the album itself... best of 2003 by far!
