So, this time of year is when I start thinking about bands for the Murderfest. It usually takes me around 3-4 months to get the headlining line-up confirmed and I like to get people's thoughts on the overall line-up. So, here's your chance. Voice your opinions...

No matter who they are get bands that don't play around the west coast all the time. I say get some europe bands like, spawn of possession and phsycroptic(australia). Maybe even some old schoolers to like napalm death and theory in practice (if zues would use his powers to bring them back!!!!)

The thing that drew me to this fest last year was the exclusive performances(Brutal Truth, Athiest, etc.)If Repulsion played again i would not mind at all. They stole the show for me. Cheers!

Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th will be the days of the fest.

Friday April 4th will be a special MURDERpreFEST party at the Relax Bar in Hollywood with some very special guests.

As soon as we get the rest of the headlining package confirmed 110% we will make an announcement.

MDF books their fest really really REALLY early in the game. We're not to that level to be able to book and confirm our entire line-up almost a year in advance. At some point we hope to be able to but this is technically only our third year of doing this and bands are still hesitant to come to LA.

Yes, ANAL BLAST is also on the fest. I was just naming off bands last night to show what we actually do have some killer bands confirmed.

As for CONVERGE, yes, they're playing the newly added third day of the fest. The fest is now April 18th, 19th and 20th.

So, will Friday be a full day with more headliners? I already requested my days off from work, and Friday won't work for me as I have to drive from Vegas. Bummer. I wouldn't mind seeing Baroness.

Friday will not be a full day like Saturday and Sunday. We're still working out the details for Friday but as it stands right now, Converge, The Red Chord, Baroness and Genghis Tron are on the Friday date.
