i'm under the impression that there is a possible chance that certain users may, in theory, own Carvin 7's. If this happens to be the case could those persons who might, post a technical breakdown of their options?
i'm serious in the game of buying one of these weapons and and unsure as to which wood combos would be best for killing others in battle. why 747 when 727 gives you active electronics? Any info is much appreciated.

hey there are quite a few options available, the best way to get a rundown of them would be either to look it up on the website or call em up since they will oftentimes do things not listed (so long as you dont mind spendin a bit more)
the only difference between the 727 and 747 is the fact that the latter has a single coil in between the 2 humbuckers and a 5 way switch.
You pay extra for active electronics on both.

i read on your interview that you put a Lundgren m7 in the bridge, are the stock pickup's any good, or should I expect to put something new in right away?

i personally didnt like the bridge pickup, and lundgrens totally nail the sound im going for, so i replaced that, but the neck pickup actually sounds amazing, so that is staying put. never mess with the single coil to be honest, and i kinda wish i had just gotten a 727 instead...

is that because the 727 offers active electronics and the 747 doesnt?

no, you can get active electronics on either (i wouldnt personally) i would just get the 727 cuz i never use the single coil and it gets in the way of picking sometimes....
