As you can see, I love old school CC. \m/ I think all their new shit kinda sucks except for maybe Bloodthirst and Vile.

Alex, cool list but how can you think Nihility was better than Winds of Creation? That album is so goddamn technical and fast and the song structure is fucking crazy. Also, the vocals are a lot better on that album than any other. Nihility sounded waaaaay to fake-sounding. The guitars didn't sound like guitars and the drums didn't sound like drums.

Damn... I fuckin love Nihility, Winds of Creation is sick as hell too, but in a different way. I've said it on this forum before, but in my old truck with my fat stereo system, Nihility was so fucking heavy and pounding, those kicks pushed my subs in the most perfect way! Although, I do think some of the songs on Nihility get a little boring at times.

Disgorge - Consume the Forsaken
Incantation - mortal throne of nazarene/upon the throne of apocalypse
Dying Fetus - Killing on Adrenaline

there are many more must mentions but I'll keep myself from cheating..

oh and I too love winds of creation.. i think it is decapitated's finest work to date.

What is this BLASPHEMY!?!? No CANNIBAL CORPSE ANYWHERE!? This is an outrage! They've got to at least be ahead of Dying Fetus...crimony. I probably just love CC so much because they were the first death metal band I've heard. But one cannot deny the fact that their old school shit is "off da chain".

Totally bro, there is no doubt that "Tomb" and "Butchered", even "The Bleeding" are high up on my list! For some reason the stuff with corpsegrinder had less of an impact on me.

Death-"Spritual Healing" (Chuck at his darkest)
Carcass- "Heartwork" (this was a brilliant fucking album!)
Deeds of Flesh-"Reduced to Ashes" (this album owns!)
Nile-"In Their Darkened Shrines" (creatively crushing!)

You wanted 5, Decrepit Birth is close in there too but these albums really ripped my head off in various ways.

Sorry bro but that is my opinion I think that is the best Decapitated album, the production and musical skills slayed Winds..., but I do love Winds it is a great Cd. And to be honest I didn't care for the neGAYtion it kinda let me down I was expecting it to be even more tech but whatever. Oh and for the Cannibal comment, dude Dying Fetus murders Cannibal, and I would have to say that I like the CorpseGrinder era way more because the got more tech and interesting in my opinion

Yeah, that Vital Remains album "Dechristianize" is definetely intense, whoever mentioned that.

Whisper Supremacy....I can't listen to that goddamn shit simply because of that DiSalvo loser. He is seriously one of the worst fucking vocalists I've ever heard. I'm glad Cryptopsy did that live album because that Martin Lacroux guy did some justice to the DiSalvo era songs.
