i was driving home from work one day and trying out the radio function of my zune - and i hit up the alternative station. all of a sudden this song with badass piano playing and drumming is playing amidst all the horrible screamo they play. it wasn't until i actually came home and googled a lyric, and it turned out it was some chicks who called their group the dresden dolls. the only grasp of the collective opinion this board has of these gals is somewhere in the region of "faggot gay band", but,

no care.

I think they're pretty tight.

I agree, man. I like them. A good bit of these "faggy bands" are as popular as they are for a reason. Bright Eyes included.

I saw this band open for NIN, it's a chick and a dude. They were alright live, but I really can't stand any of their songs. The covered war pigs, which was cool.

I thought they were terrible at first. But i was doing some art work one time and i had my gf's ipod on random and i think i had listened to like 2 songs before i was like "holy shit, what is this?" lol, they actually have some really cool shit and some really awful shit. no in between as i've found.
