...we're dealing with an online webstore which will sell all our designs in the future, i.e. they will not be directly available from the band because we're all too fucking busy/lazy to handle it.
So, we decided to leave the merch to somebody else, and pay them to handle everything but the designing and manufacturing, which we still will do ourselves.

I'm still dealing with these guys, and we're just gonna work out the last details. After that, we need to re-stock some designs and then we'll have our own online store. Beats having no merch at all for sale for the past year or so.

There will be 2-3 different t-shirt designs and hoodies available for a start, then we'll see if we get it rolling enough to make shit like hats, girlie shirts and so on.

When I get more news, you'll have them.

Seriously though, there MAY be some slight similarities, since Glenn did a lot of our designs, if not most, and he was in RGTE too. Having said that, I don't see any similarities whatsoever, especially since I know Glenn steered well clear of using the same ideas for both bands, plus he's quite the professional and doesn't recycle ideas or themes. Unlike me, who gladly rips myself off due to sheer laziness and incompetence.

The "theme" of subject was it was said that each band had their own "theme" of merch... to me, the designs i've seen from each band of non-album related shizzle all seem so easily interchangable that they either have the same "theme" or neither band has a theme.

All you'd have to do is put say the older Regurgitate logo where the GS one is and i don't think anyone would particularly notice much difference.

if it was something more in the vein of the kind of drawings in the LHP artwork, then i'd say it was a more distinctly General Surgery style thing.

I'm 99,99% certain that the flesh-peeled-back skull-image is from the Andreas Vesalius book "De Humani Corporis Fabrica", where virtually all of the other images for the LHP booklet (and a lot of our other shirts) have been taken from.
I need to verify that with Glenn though. So, with that in mind I'd say it's definitely in the same style as every other shirt we've done so far, about half of our designs have Vesalius motifs.

Never seen that on a RGTE shirt. I can give you that the skull image is somewhat generic, but I myself I couldn't imagine it on a RGTE shirt ever. Maybe it's because I know them too well, and I know that they would never want a shirt out that looked similar to one of ours, and of course it goes the other way around as well.
