The Butcher ABC split

Snipping some news off our website:

We have (almost) finished the new recording, 9 songs in total were recorded at Offbeat studio during May.

Some of the titles that may or may not appear on the Butcher ABC split are Deadhouse, Visceral Asphyxiation, Decedent Scarification Aesthetics and Enforced Accelerated Disintegration Constant.

The only thing that remains to complete are some slight adjustments to the mix, and after that you should see a preview up here soon.

They were the last band we really watched, and it was a perfect ending.

We don't want to headline.. I thought our spot was perfect, or maybe we could have gone on around nine. Last time was way too late, everybody is too worn out by 11.30 PM when we played.

Yeah, anything after 8/before 10 is pretty much perfect. Even Brutal Truth and ENT just bored the fuck out of me because of how tired I was.

At the OEF we go on at 22.15, and that is about as late as we can go on and still perform well I think... I get very "thirsty" and "tired" towards later in the evening.

I couldn't be bothered with ENT or really get into BT. Was exhausted at that point, so yeah. but for sure you guys should've played a longer set! Just take like 20 minutes out of Regurgitate's set or something ;)

Nah, no need for longer than 40-45 minutes for us really.. but I think we might have played about 35 at the MDF.

Anything more than 40/45 minutes for grind/death metal bands is usually overkill.

I forgot to say there will be about 3-4 new songs unveiled at the OEF.. plus another unveiling you won't forget. No, I'm keeping my pants on so it's not that kind of "unveiling".

The OEF setlist will contain no less than 4 new songs, I wrote it out yesterday.. Yay for new songs!

Today I received what I hope is the final mix.. gonna wait for the other doctors opinions, but personally I think this might be the one we should go with. If it is, previews will be up soon.

I also learned that Butcher ABC now will be recording their part in Oct/Nov, so the release is still way off. At least it's coming out, I never thought we were gonna get it done.
