God i hate blabbermouth, what a terrible review. the user reviews are all bullshit, a ton of kids go around a rank stuff as 1 to pull down the ranking. the people who commented seemed to like it a lot though! haha

The Dutch guys from Disavowed manage with this new and second disc to expand the sound of their successful debut of the 2001 through Unique Leader Records “Perceptive Deception
The band still practices lethal and brutal death metal in the vein of originating bands of the USA like SUFFOCATION, the first stage of PYREXIA or the average era of DYING FETUS, but with their own touch!!!!

Robbe Kok, frontman of the band, has interesting and slow growl that is looked to bands like compatriots CAEDERE or INIQUITY

Daniel “Daan” Van Der Broel and Gerben plays a terrible amount of riffs bloody ultra technicians and without doubt were in charge to satisfy so much to fans with the tecnicidad like a the lovers of groove

The drummer Romain Goulon (ARSBREED), is in charge to give to the subjects a full frame him of blasts without saturating or falling in the exageración

Also,is possible to emphasize the work of Nils Berndsen(bass player) a bass
that sounds dominant and very present, something that does not happen either often in brutal death,that rather hides these "poor muicians” trying to rather honor of the guitarists

For finish, Disavowed, a cool chance for discover a great and interesting band.
So if you are looking for something new already you know, if you like the bands bfored named go for this

I hope that the band, that enough of tour by Europe nothing else neither nothing less than with CANNIBAL CORPSE, aside from to have touched or in North America and Japan, continues working with the impetus shown until the moment. I am sure that they will even harvest many fruits throughout the way.

That's a little strong, I just didn't think the album was the tits of the death metal realm; there are bands I much prefer on the Neurotic roster. I paid you a fair share of compliments for "Stagnated Existence" too, you know - much more than I can accredit to the new Visceral Bleeding.

I do like the album...

A review I wrote for a switzerland magazine called transit mag :)

Après l’excellent ‘Perceptive Deception’ leur premier album sorti en 2001 chez Unique Leader, les hollandais de Disavowed reviennent enfin à la charge avec ce ‘Stagnated Existence’, qui fait mieux que confirmer tout le bien que je pensais d’eux, puisqu’ils nous sortent là une pure bombe. Six ans ça fait beaucoup mais l’attente aura valu la peine, et même si la musique du groupe a quelque peu évolué, on reconnaît assez facilement l’empreinte Disavowed ! L’arrivée d’une deuxième guitare renforce particulièrement les riffs qui se trouvent être bien plus complexes que sur le premier opus, et les lignes de basse sont également bien plus développées, ce qui nous donne déjà un ensemble plus technique. Mais le gros atout du disque est sans conteste l’arrivée du français Romain Goulon à la batterie qui vient augmenter radicalement les tempos avec des blasts à tout vas mais aussi des parties vraiment techniques avec une précision hors pair. La voix se trouve elle plus variée, presque plus naturelle, mais toujours aussi gutturale. La production faite maison par Robbe K met bien en évidence chaque instrument et le tout a un coté assez vieux qui n’est pas déplaisant. Bref Disavowed frappe très fort et se profile comme une des références du brutal death en Europe, ce qui prouve qu’avec eux ou Defeated Sanity, on n’a plus rien à envier aux américains. Pas besoin d’y aller par quatre chemins, tout amateur de blast se doit de posséder ce disque !
