For 2120 owners

I'm looking for something that is like a mix between Peirced from Within, Symbolic, and Defeted Sanity. Basically full and crushing during the chunky parts but still tight and defined.

With the free midi program called RPedit, you can import custom patches into your 2120.

sounds like a hard tone to come up with.

Symbolic has such a great guitar tone, so much clarity and definition.

not really... you need a real tube amp for that tone... try the Special Edition!!!! if you are ready to drop nearly $4,000 on it!

If you cant afford that, a 5150 would be the cheapest route to something like that.

A lot of the tone depends on what type of power amp you have. I'm using a tube power amp so that helps out greatly. I will get you as close as possible, but you might have to tweak it a bit depending on the rest of your gear.

Yeah, definitely able to get a brutal tone with it. I toured with mine, and it came through every night. Got a lot of compliments about the tone as well. But I prefer a 5150 because its so much more real sounding to my ears.

And I'm glad you prefer that 5150 since I ended up with the 2120. I love this thing!!!

Also, my 2120 tone mixed with the tone of our other guitarists 5150 goes together so well.
