I don't know why, but I just can't get into DEP anymore. I saw them in '98 and it was the most INSANE thing I had ever witnessed. Ben kicked the fucking shit out of a PA speaker stack and almost knocked it into the crowd and Dimitri "saved the day" by taking the top half of the stack and slamming it on the stage and finished the rest of the song while standing on top of it.

I thought that was hands down the most metal thing I had ever seen. They haven't touched that level of brutality in years. Guess it's hard to top that kinda shit. I have probably seen them seven or eight times since (and will continue to see them as long as they play shows in or near LR), and I no longer find them the least bit shocking.

well i saw greg friday in baltimore, he told me, but i have known this for atleast 2 weeks when chris escaped his relapse contract and broke free of the band....they got some other dude who is an "equal" to chris skills wise, he is going to record the last record then i dont know what they plan on doing after that. but there is alot to this story that alot od people dont know about....I am just not at liberty to say what it is that went down to make all of this happen, but it is complicating on everyones part in the band

The guy fillin gin now is learning....if they do find another replacement i hope he can keep time
