ANOMALOUS has gotten many offers to tour, play fests and open for big name bands, so...

DRUMMERS:
I know our music is demanding, but I also know there has to be drummers out there who can pull it off (besides Lord Marco). It seems that there is no one out there who even cares enough to even audition, or they are all just flakes.

So anyway, I'm posting the guitar tracks for our song "Metastasize" for download here:

http://www.bestsharing.com/files/V5AqHHq269467/metastasizeguitars.mp3.html

For anyone interested, go ahead and record drums along with the guitar tracks (just like Lord Marco did) and send an mp3 of your recording to anomalousband@earthlink.net or contact me, Tim Hale, through this myspace page. Please, drummers, if you want an opportunity to tour and expose your talent to the world and collaborate with a signed band, don't let this slip by!!!!

For those who are interested, this is what would be expected of you:
-Can play 230-250 double kick rolls, 320 bpm hyper blasts (not doubled, like Cryptopsy) and have some limb independence.
-Is not flakey; someone who is a serious, dedicated musician who is willing to put in time to learn songs and perfect them.
-Is available and ready to tour.
-A bonus for those who are serious fans of Progessive bands of all genres (like: Pink Floyd, Meshuggah, Tool, Yes, Latter-era Death, The Mars Volta, Theory In Practice, etc.)

Thank you,

Tim

Thanks...the hypers aren't as bad as they sound - they are 8th notes just played reall fast, one hand hitting snare and the kick matching it with both feet.

Marco did it as a slow gravity blast, which I thought was an interesting technique.

how much touring would be expected?

As much as possible. We'll need to play shows locally first and then try and get an opening slot on a big tour.

Well, I'm on the hunt again. So far there have been a few bites, but they proved to be fruitless. Is there anyone remotely near teh by area who can, and is willing to play brutal drums for us?!
