is there anywhere I will be able to leave the copious amounts of merch I will no doubt drunkenly buy at MDF? or should I just bring a backpack?
also I will need somewhere to store my velvet cloak

well my car will be back in Australia so I might miss a few bands putting the merch there :)
the hotel we are at (Ramada Baltimore) is a bit a distance too so I don't think I'll be heading back there until after the gig

I was going to ask this very same question, but instead of cloak it was going to be Jacket/Hoodie!
Can you take backpacks into the Sonar?

Backpacks are fine.
Sorry, no room for coats and such. Generally speaking the weather in the end of May is quite mild, so generally people don't need to store such items or have really asked about it before...
I imagine that if you have no choice but to store something, we can work something out for you.

I saw cloakroom and figured this gentleman had to be traveling abroad.
Make new friends and ask to keep your shit in their car. I know I wouldn't have a problem doing it for someone.

haha I'm going down in the minivan probably, I should have a $1 coat check ;)
often when I go to a place where I need to store shit I bring my backpack with me and I ask someone at one of the merch tables if I can stick it under the table. ask someone nicely enough and they'll probably keep it there for you.

Yeah dude, not a problem. I'll easily be spending that much as well. I've been saving up for this. Guess I'll have to order a Psycroptic shirt online now though.

You're near Turds? Where is that Suppository lover anyway?
Was he at the Macabre gig last Friday?

You guys are awesome for wanting to help some people from out of towners with storing stuff.

Dude, the amount you guys are paying to fly in to see some bands has to already be high. Least I can do is open the trunk of my car for you to put some stuff in for a bit. Anyone that would say no is an asshole.
I'll have my car as well. Just ask :)
