and about equipment! Itīs marshall amps 2000 ones with a zoom GT5 or what it is....dunno exactly, cus Wolfgang and Christian are the sound masters, dunno what jacob uses

I use Pearl master series, broken zjildian cymbals, a sabian, a 20 euro justin (no name, but good) china and a ludwig black beauty snare

About the tracks! We recorded drums, both guitars and bass together at the same time in one room, and after that we cleaned up the dirty stuff. So I can say, over 60 % of the stuff is played live in the studio.
I remember some songs, where Jacob did like 3 riffs and that was it.

I did two songs or so in 2 takes, the rest all one take, I think Hideously was a first take actually....

Donīt ask me about eq, Wolfgang is like the sound master for Defeated sanity.

Do they use the jcm's clean tone, and then use the zoom's distortion... or do they use it combination with the jcm's distortion?

You don't have to know the settings, you just have to look at what channel they're on the amp when the guys play :)
