...and that block isn't even a full block. If you're travelling out to this fest, this is the best place to stay.

i just made a reservation and they told me no discounts for this event. who ever posted this should get the facts straight. they are out of the cheap rooms already as well (if you believe them).

We have our facts straight. This is what the management of the hotel told us. We'll call them and ask them why they're not sticking to their end of the deal. It's probably a case of them not updating all their employees.

There's a Motel 6 right around the corner, there's also a Day's Inn which is a little further of a walk. There's a lot of hotels and motels around the area.

Motel 6 on Whitley Ave and Hollywood Blvd is good. I stay there often for shows in Hollywood. Costs about $70 a night but Im always super loud (blasting music, yelling etc.) and its never a problem!

Though it is a little, dirty!

Its the walking distance it takes to smoke a cigarette from the motel to the Knitting Factory.

Last year we had a special running with the Highland Gardens but this year they weren't into the idea. I have no idea why as last year they were sold out with people from the fest.

As said, Motel 6 is close and it's really not that bad of a spot.

our rythm guitarist lives at highland gardens while he is taking recording over at the musicians institute. we have a room which we can be as loud as we want and drunk as we want so hit us up to party big cats
